As part of a design challenge, I worked on reimagining how Spotify could strengthen the bond between artists and fans beyond streaming. My role included analyzing current user journeys, identifying engagement gaps, and designing new interaction flows. The outcome was the Spotify Fan Pass, which introduces exclusive perks, digital collectibles, and premium access—all directly inside the app.

The main challenge was to design features that bring back exclusivity and direct connection without disrupting Spotify’s seamless listening experience. To address this, I:
Conducted research on fan expectations and engagement patterns
Defined key friction points in onboarding and fan-artist interactions
Designed user flows and wireframes to integrate new features smoothly
Developed a visual identity aligned with Spotify’s brand language

Through the redesign, I transformed fan engagement from passive listening into an interactive, rewarding journey. My work simplified user flows, created a consistent visual system, and introduced features that feel native to Spotify’s ecosystem. The result: a smoother experience for fans, new engagement tools for artists, and a clear opportunity for Spotify to increase retention and strengthen brand loyalty.
